4186, the book and the video

I'm grateful to make these available.

4186, the book and the video

4186 is now available for purchase.

The video that explains how pianos are made, what their different sizes are and how sound is generated by them is available on YouTube.

I find ways to explain difficult concepts simply.

I am now available to train your teachers.

What in the world does that even mean?

This is what this means:

If you’re a classical pianist (or any musician, really) starting out with your studio and you are flabbergasted by why your students aren’t practicing or why your teachers don’t seem to stick around or why you are feeling so defeated all the time or why why why, then this website, the book, the video and I are all here for you.

There are 176 days left in the school year. If you’re a K-12, university, community college or homeschooling educator, then you’re already counting down.

If you’re a private instructor with your own internal schedule then your timetable is just as important.

And all of us have the same issues—we want our students of all ages to feel successful.

There are some concepts and practices that are time tested. Most need to be modified for your particular situation. That’s where I come in.

As I said earlier, I find ways to explain difficult concepts simply.

The video is an example of that. The video has no words in it except the name Heinrich Hertz.

The program encapsulated in 51 pages uses just enough words to make the point. You are given full freedom to adapt and mold for your purposes.

It took a long time to create both of these, though they’d been on my mind for some time. I’m glad I was able to manifest that which had been inside for so long, because they are both already doing great good
