A form of rest.
We practice what we preach.

This afternoon, I made two batches of chocolate chip walnut cookies and both times I got the temperature wrong.
Friends and I ate the centers of the overcooked cookies, pictured, and laughed a lot about that and other things.
Now I'm lounging on a chaise, propped up by pillows, guffawing at a comedy, Dr Carter the Loaf Cat right here, Person-of-Interest over yonder. My tummy hurts in a good way.
Laughter heals.
Writing, presenting, planning, meeting, practicing, composing, producing—it's intense. We are doing Good work that will hold up over time. The results show up in the success of the students.
Resting is needed. Resting as needed.
