Ten points about my style.

A post written for educational organizations

This is a free newsletter. If you like what you read, it would be a good thing for everyone involved to subscribe for $5.00 per month. Better if also you share this with other teachers and musicians and music educators who then subscribe. Best if you also hire us to transform your staff and instructors, thus raising student competencies, improving teacher retention, increasing profit, expanding morale and career satisfaction and changing the educational world one note at a time.

This is for directors and HR managers and vendor experts.

These are ten things you should know upfront before hiring me:

  1. I write letters, with a fancy pen and in cursive.
  2. I seal my letters with an actual wax seal. That’s how you know it’s me.
  3. I always say, “You’re welcome!” when you say “Thank you!”. I do not say, “No worries” or “No problem”.
  4. No one else exists when I am speaking to you. I will not be on my phone, and if it buzzes while I am engaging with you, I will ignore it.
  5. I am 100% certain I can help your teachers and help you retain staff and help you improve morale.
  6. I am very aware of my mortality as a cancer survivor, and as a result, when I am Doing My Thang, fully immersed in my seminar or class or workshop, I am All In in a way that will change how you view your life. This is not hyperbole.
When folks leave me, I want them to know what it feels like when you’re doing what you’re born to do.
  7. That’s how I live my life too. I really really really love my life.
I am so glad I’m here.
  8. The expression of our art is what unites us. Defining what art is is the perfect fodder for conversation every and all day.
  9. My favorite moment is right now.
  10. My favorite quote is by Prince: Makin’ Love and Music’s the only things worth fightin’ for.
