Decision fatigue is exactly what is sounds like--after so many micro and macro-decisions you have to make daily, you.are.done.
- What does this do to the body?
- What does this do to the mind?
- How does this contribute to burn-out?
- How does this affect relationships outside of work?
- And what can you do about it?
There are many professions that deal with decision fatigue--teachers, air traffic controllers, surgeons, judges, and financial planners.
You will note that 100% of these are high pressure, high stakes jobs.
Parents and caregivers are also prone to decision fatigue.
Take heed—decision fatigue reduces your ability to make good decisions until you can rest.
