I'm in love with this.
Only learn from a teacher who feels thusly.

I love that I can play the piano.
I
Love
It.
I love that I can sit down and make up stuff and nobody knows that I just made that up except for a couple of fellow musician nerds in the audience, who usually end up appreciating the improvisation.
I love learning intricate and “simple” and “complicated” and challenging and whimsical music.
I love how the piano sounds at 2 am in the middle of winter when it's that quiet quiet that only occurs after a good snowfall.
I love how cathartic a ballad played on the piano during a soft rain is.
I love accompanying music on the radio or streaming service.
I love how the piano sounds at 10 pm at a club or festival or restaurant—heavy metal or pop or Latin jazz. All of it.
I love how the entire house changes when I do something as simple as play a scale while waiting for the coffee to brew.
The first time I played with my son in concert was transcendent and ranks up there with top two experiences of my life.
I love how one person using two fingers to work out Chopsticks or Auld Lang Syne or L’amour est un oiseau rebelle is enough to bring up everyone's spirits at a party.
I love that I know how pianos are made and how sound travels, and I love that I yearn to learn more.
I'm 100% in love with this.
