It's never going to be perfect.
Until everyone understands experientially that there is a space between thought and action and that you can learn how to not react long enough to let the space expand, there will be wars.
Until everyone understands how we are connected and that there is no I/me without Us, there will be -isms.
You can practice and practice all of your Berens and Hanons and get that flow and rock that soul, but you cannot account for you tripping and falling on your face on the way to the piano over the extension cord in the middle of the stage. (deep sigh)
Your emerald cut Graff diamond earrings and your Meiter D'art Chopard panda watch and your Giambattista Valli gown and your, um, Sketcher shoes may be totally en pointe. You planned for that. Kapow! Gorgeous! Yep, but did you have anyone scan your entire outfit affirmatively and adeptly catch the spinach between your teeth before your interview? (deep sigh)
Didn't plan for that, though.
Try for peace anyway.
Try for equality anyway.
Try for the performance anyway.
Try for the interview anyway.
It's never going to be perfect. You can't plan for everything. You can't wait for everyone to get on board. There's going to be some obstacle. Someone is going to object to you, no matter how prove-able, factual, and compassionate your argument is. In fact, expect the obstacle. Such is Life. Expect the resistance. Such is Life.
Here's the thing:
You matter. Your actions matter. And the intention--the volition--behind those actions can move mountains. Keep your volition True.
You might be the only one with the correct frequency in this timeline that can move that particular mountain for others and for yourself.
Try.
