Office Space
First day of the year
It was time to create an office space.
This week, I begin consulting with music studios and conservatories to help seasoned musicians transition into effective educators.
I began piano lessons with Danny Tyrell, keyboardist for a bunch of people (like Motown folks and soul singers and such). I will perform some original works later this year.
My first fencing tournament will be the Danosi at Wayne State University in February.
As you can see, it was time to create an office space. Much is blossoming.
Today, the first day of the Gregorian calendar this year of our Lord 2024 (see Detroit skyline below), was spent shredding papers and laundering clothing and meditating and sitting in silence and dancing and singing in joy. I’m thrilled and excited about these new goals; it has felt like moving through mud and quicksand for some time.
