What are you wearing?
This post is not educational at all.
It’s 8F/-13C/260K, and tomorrow it will be colder.
I do not like winter.
There is a whole list of reasons.
But I do like sweaters and fleece lined pants and thick socks.
So, I am wearing one of my favorite sweaters that reminds me of David Bowie, and I have my fleece lined jogging pants with the deep pockets, and the softest socks in the world. I am warm and well-fed (two things I do not take for granted).
Michigan does autumn well. People drive from all over to see the leaves change colors. Summer in Michigan is wonderful—if it’s too hot for you wherever you are, drive six miles (9.6 km) and you’ll arrive at a lake where you can cool off. And spring…spring in Michigan is glorious with shrubs and trees and flowers all bursting with colors, not to mention hummingbirds and cardinals and bumblebees. Even with my allergies, I am 100% on board with spring in Michigan.
But winter?
